Organic Fertilizing

If you are a strictly organic gardener, you will welcome the introduction of slow release organic fertilizer spikes. Jobe’s All Natural Organic Tree Spikes and Tomato Spikes are two new additions to Jobe’s family of time-release fertilizer spikes.

The tree spikes are a balanced 5-5-5 formula and the tomato spikes consist of a 4-8-4 formula. Both products are made out of organic materials consisting of bone meal, sunflower seed hull ashes and process tankage.

These organic fertilizers release nutrients gradually, coinciding with the plant’s requirements. In addition, the organic materials in the fertilizer condition the soil, improving its structure and increasing the population of beneficial microbes.
