Addressing Gettysburg: Tom Berenger has been cast in the leading role in TNT’s “The Killer Angels,” a four-hour miniseries about the Battle of Gettysburg. Berenger will play Confederate Gen. James Longstreet in the telefilm based on Michael Shaara’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. TNT plans to re-create the battle in Gettysburg, Pa., this summer; the $10-million project will be the biggest the network has ever undertaken. TNT announced other projects for 1993, including “Sea Wolf,” based on Jack London’s novel and starring Charles Bronson; an adaptation of another Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, “Foreign Affairs,” starring Joanne Woodward; and a show on Katharine Hepburn, hosted by her.
