San Diego : Off-Road Vehicle Runs Over Transient
San Diego police are seeking the driver of a four-wheel-drive pickup that ran over a 47-year-old woman as she slept in bushes at Robb Field in Ocean Beach early Thursday.
Susan Kar, a transient, suffered severe injuries to her head and was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where she was in critical condition, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
The truck, which was off-roading in the area, was described by a witness as a brown, maroon or red Nissan or Toyota pickup with a white camper shell, Robinson said.
Robinson asked anyone with information to call police at 235-TIPS.
