Robert Munies has joined the Institute for Biological Research and Development Inc. in Irvine as vice president, regulatory affairs. He was formerly senior director, regulatory affairs for Johnson & Johnson. Munies has also served as director, regulatory affairs for the Janssen Research Foundation and for Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd. In addition, Alan J. Braverman has been appointed senior director, business development. His prior positions include: director, business development for New Drug Services; vice president, client services for Bio-Pharm Clinical Services Inc.; project leader for Rhone-Poulenc Pharmaceuticals and scientific project administrator for Smith Kline & French Laboratories.
