Stiff Will Retire From Superintendent Post
Duane E. Stiff, superintendent of the Azusa Unified School District, has announced he will retire this year after a successor is named.
The Azusa Board of Education estimates a search to replace him will take about six months.
Stiff, 64, joined the district in 1984. Previously, he was superintendent of the Chino Unified School District for seven years.
During his 34 years in public education, Stiff also has worked in administration in the Orange and El Segundo school districts.
