Wathan, 42, wonders if he is out of touch with popular music. Some members of the rock group Rush visited the clubhouse and dugout before the game.
“They said Rush was coming today,” Wathan said, shaking his head. “I thought (Rush) Limbaugh was in town.”
Wathan got to know Limbaugh, the conservative radio commentator, when both worked for the Kansas City Royals.
