FREEWAY REPAIRS

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are identified by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

Bellflower: Clark Avenue off-ramp from the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91); 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

Cerritos: Eastbound connector to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; guardrail repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

Commerce: Northbound No. 1 and 2 lanes from Washington Boulevard to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) connector; 5 a.m. to noon today; bridge and guardrail repair.

South Gate: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes from Firestone Boulevard to the Clara Street overcrossing; 6 a.m. to noon today; graffiti cleaning.

Vernon: Atlantic Boulevard/Bandini Boulevard off-ramp from the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

Long Beach: Southbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Cherry Avenue to Temple Avenue, plus the Spring Street on-ramp, Cherry Avenue on-ramp and Orange Avenue on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; crack seal repair.

Long Beach: Southbound No. 5 lane from Atlantic Avenue to the Orange Avenue on-ramp, plus the Orange Avenue off-ramp and Atlantic Avenue on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday; crack seal repair.

Long Beach: Cherry Avenue on-ramp from the southbound San Diego Freeway (405); 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; crack seal repair.

Long Beach: Southbound No. 5 lane from Orange Avenue to Cherry Avenue, plus the Cherry Avenue off-ramp and Orange Avenue on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday; crack seal repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

Santa Fe Springs: Northbound No. 1 lane from Saragosa Street to the Dunlap Crossing Road undercrossing; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; crack seal repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

Various cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Artesia Boulevard to Lakewood Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; center median sweeping.
