Marshall High Honor to Arts Teacher

A retirement tribute to John Marshall High School’s performing arts teacher, Gerald J. Winesburg, will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. in the school’s auditorium at 3939 Tracy St. in Los Angeles.
“The Winesburg Affair,” produced by the school’s Alumni Assn., will involve students from Winesburg’s 37 years of teaching (28 years at Marshall High.)
Admission is free. Donations will be accepted with net proceedes supporting a new scholarship fund in Winesburg’s honor. For information or reservations, contact the Marshall Alumni Assn. Office at (213) 660-1440.
