James E. Furman has joined La Puente-based Southwest Water Co. as president of the company’s Houston-based water and waste water service business division. He replaces Michael O. Quinn, who will assume the position of chief operating officer of the company’s public utility section, also headquartered in La Puente. Quinn replaces Randell J. Vogel, who retired from the company on April 27.
Furman comes to Southwest Water from Baker Hughes Inc., Houston, where for the last 15 years he served as president of several of the company’s worldwide divisions.
