Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk! It’s a Three Stooges triple movie bill (beginning Sunday at 7 a.m. on TNT), featuring Moe, Larry and Curly Joe in three of their feature-length comedies: 1963’s “The Three Stooges Go Around the World in a Daze,” 1962’s “The Three Stooges Meet Hercules” and 1962’s “The Three Stooges in Orbit.”
“Martin & Lewis: Their Golden Age of Comedy--Birth of the Team,” (Sunday at 9 p.m. on the Disney Channel) is the first of three specials on the comedy team of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. The one-hour special features home movies of stage performances, clips from Martin and Lewis’ TV shows and an interview with Lewis.
Nick at Nite presents “Viewer Request Week” (Monday-Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.; Friday-Saturday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and next Sunday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.)--all programming for the week has been selected by Nick’s TV Land viewers.
George and Weezie go to Hawaii on a special four-part episode of “The Jeffersons” (Monday-Thursday at midnight on KTTV).
Kip gets caught up in the world of rock ‘n’ roll when a childhood friend, now a famous rocker (Adrian Zmed) arrives in town on “Bosom Buddies” (Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. on KTTV).
KTTV presents “Mayberry’s Most Wanted” (Wednesday at 8 p.m.), four episodes from “The Andy Griffith Show” featuring Deputy Barney Fife at his best; Fox weatherman Mark Thompson hosts the special, which spoofs Fox’s “America’s Most Wanted.”
TNT has dusted off another obscure series “Cain’s Hundred” (Thursday at 1:40 a.m. on TNT), a police drama that aired on NBC during the 1961-62 season and starred Peter Mark Richman as a former gangland attorney who became an agent for the federal government.
Check out two famous names in an early TV movie: Burt Reynolds stars in the 1970 drama “Hunters Are for Killing” (Thursday at 7:05 a.m. on TBS) as a former high school football star who was wrongly convicted of manslaughter; Richard Gere stars in the 1975 action-flick “Strike Force” (at 10:05 a.m.).
Ruta Lee plays a pushy reporter who is sent to Mayberry to get dirt on Andy on “The Andy Griffith Show” (Thursday at 3:35 p.m. on TBS).
A pre-”Bonnie and Clyde” Michael J. Pollard guests on “The Andy Griffith Show” (Friday at 3:35 p.m. on TBS) as Barney’s klutzy cousin.
Nickelodeon repeats the first episode of “Dennis the Menace” (Saturday at 12:30 p.m), which originally aired Oct. 4, 1959, on CBS.
Lucy meets the legendary Bob Hope and the equally legendary Orson Welles on back-to-back episodes of “I Love Lucy” (Saturday at 5:30 p.m. on KTTV).
