Edwin I. Colodny will retire next month...
Times Staff and Wire Reports
Edwin I. Colodny will retire next month as chairman of USAir Group Inc. after 14 years in the job and 35 years with the company, the airline announced Wednesday.
His replacement at the nation’s sixth-largest airline will be Seth E. Schofield, 52, who is president and chief executive.
The change was no surprise. Colodny, 65, had retired from the CEO position last year, and Schofield had taken over as head of day-to-day operations. Colodny will remain a director.
