Authorities Identify Dismembered Body
Authorities have identified a San Diego man whose dismembered body was found in a canyon near Miramar Naval Air Station.
Robert R. Evans, 55, was identified by dental records, a spokesman for the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office said Wednesday. No other details were released, Medical Examiner investigator E.B.M. Dickerson said.
A clean-up crew behind a building in the 7000 block of Consolidated Way found Evans’ decomposed body Friday night. Parts of the body were in three trash bags. An investigation continues.
