Santa Monica : Senate Candidates to Meet

Candidates for the hotly contested Democratic primary for state senator in the 23rd District are scheduled to appear together Wednesday night at the Santa Monica Democratic Club.

Club newsletter editor Herman Rosenstein said that State Sen. Herschel Rosenthal, Assemblyman Tom Hayden and businesswoman Catherine O’Neill have agreed to attend the endorsement meeting.

Representatives of candidates running in the Democratic primary for both U.S. Senate seats on the ballot will also be on hand.

The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in John Muir Elementary School, at Lincoln and Ocean Park boulevards in Santa Monica. Entrance to the parking lot is one block north of the school on Pine Street.
