The trial of Walter F. Jekot, originally scheduled for April 7 in federal court in Los Angeles, has been continued until June 23 to give defense attorneys additional preparation time. Jekot, 50, a West Los Angeles physician, has been indicted on 27 counts of illegally distributing steroids.
