Bosco Tech Gets $20,000 Offset Printing Press
Don Bosco Technical Institute in Rosemead has received a $20,000 offset printing press from Heidelberg West Inc. of Brisbane, Calif.
The company donated the press to the California Graphic Arts Educators Assn. for an existing instructional program in California.
Bosco Tech was selected from 60 applicants in a drawing at the association’s meeting last November at Heidelberg West’s facility in Dominguez Hills. The applicants represented graphic communications programs at high schools, community colleges, regional occupational centers and vocational training centers throughout California.
The press will be used in press and production courses in Bosco Tech’s Graphic Communications Department.
