All in the Family: The Pogo comic strip on Monday will carry the new byline of Peter and Carolyn Kelly, the son and daughter of the strip’s creator, Walt Kelly. Pete will write the strip while his sister assumes artistic duties. The strip about the creatures of the Okefenokee Swamp was created by Walt Kelly in the 1940s. When he died in 1973, there was an unsuccessful attempt to keep the strip going using other artists. Pogo then reappeared in 1989 using a Chicago writer-artist team.
