Legal Battles: An African-American lighting engineer has filed a multimillion-dollar discrimination lawsuit against Fox Inc. in Los Angeles Superior Court, charging “years of payroll inconsistencies, discriminatory and racist treatment†and claiming he was paid less than his white counterparts and was consistently passed over for upgrades in favor of white engineers. Albert Angelety Jr., who has worked for 16 years at FoxTape, a division of Fox located at the Fox Television Center in Hollywood, currently works on “In Living Color†and other shows produced on the lot. A Fox spokesman would not comment on “matters of litigation.â€
