A 51-year-old Los Angeles motorcyclist was killed near Littlerock in the Antelope Valley when he swerved to avoid a car and lost control of his Harley-Davidson, authorities said Sunday.
The man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was driving east on Pearblossom Highway near 71st Street East about 5:30 p.m. Saturday when a Cadillac entering the road cut in front of him, California Highway Patrol Officer Scott Ellis said.
The man swerved to the left, lost control of his motorcycle and fell onto the roadway, Ellis said.
The man was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
