In the Division IV championship game:
Santa Ynez 54, Morro Bay 36--The Pirates led, 32-30, after three quarters but limited Morro Bay to one fourth-quarter field goal in a game between Los Padres League rivals at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Erin Alexander scored 18 points, including 11 in the final quarter, and Amy Gillingham had 10 rebounds for Santa Ynez (26-3), which defeated Morro Bay for the fourth time in six meetings. Sara Pierce had 18 points and 13 rebounds for Morro Bay (25-4).
