LAWSUITS R US: To avoid a costly lawsuit, Carpets R Us has agreed to a name change. The Anaheim carpet warehouse had been in business for nine years before Toys R Us pulled the rug out from under it in February, when the giant toy chain filed suit for trademark infringement. “It’s going to cost us $10,000 for a new sign and new stationery,” lamented store Vice President Linda Lamb. One name under consideration: “Carpets 4 U.”
