Gotti Movies: Get ready for not one but two movies about John Gotti, the reputed Mafia leader currently being tried in New York on racketeering and murder charges. The Kushner-Locke Co. announced it’s making a two-hour TV movie for CBS that focuses on Gotti and prosecuting attorney Diane Giacalone, who grew up in the same neighborhood. Meanwhile, HBO begins production on “The Trial of John Gotti� as soon as the final gavel comes down. Based on testimony and tapes played at the trial, the movie will be written and produced by TV news veteran Harry Moses, who was responsible for “The Trial of Bernhard Goetz� on PBS.
