UCLA Fans Can’t Find Any Excuse for Losing Three Games in a Row

We assume that your decision to print only the first sentence of our letter last week about Jim Harrick was sloppy journalism and nothing more.
Implicit in your right to edit letters is an obligation to do it in a manner that reasonably and fairly reflects the gist of the original. The first sentence of our letter was obviously a tongue-in-cheek lead-in to a letter very critical of Jim Harrick’s coaching abilities. By printing just that sentence, you twisted the whole point of our letter unfairly.
You can imagine the responses that we have received from our friends and acquaintances, all of whom share our views about the coaching.
