New Alpha Micro Unit: Alpha Microsystems in Santa Ana said it has formed a new unit to gain a foothold in the market for corporate computer networks.
Douglas J. Tullio, president, said the company plans to commit significant resources to the field to find new markets for its technology. Initial staffing will include 14 engineers, Tullio said.
The staff will provide support to computer dealers who sell Alpha Micro’s business computers, which are used in forming networks of computers that can communicate with each other by exchanging data or sharing files.
