Keep Warner Ridge Moving
As longtime supporters of the Warner Ridge project, we were greatly relieved when we heard of the recent settlement between the city and the developers.
After many years of debate, hearings, charges and countercharges, political machinations and huge expenditures of public and private funds, the developers could now move ahead on a project that could have been completed or near completion except for a few very vocal opponents who seem to be against any effort to prepare the San Fernando Valley for the 21st Century.
We were dismayed to read this morning of still another last-ditch effort by this obstructionist group to derail the project. I trust that our public officials will quickly dispense with this protest and move on to more important matters.
As residents who live immediately adjacent to the proposed project, we applaud the city’s agreement to move forward with Warner Ridge.
