The Jackrabbits’ star forward scored six goals in two games as Poly High of Long Beach wrapped up the Moore League championship. Oatey recorded four goals in a 7-0 win over Jordan, and had two goals in a 3-1 victory over Millikan. Oatey returned to the soccer team this year after missing last season with an injury.
Other top performers:
* Kristen Ebright, a guard from Whitney High in Cerritos, scored 25 points as the Wildcats cruised to a 46-35 Delphic League basketball victory over Crossroads High of Santa Monica.
* Stephanie Sparks, a guard for the St. Anthony Saints, recorded a triple-double. She scored 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 12 assists as she led her team to an 81-26 win over St. Monica in Camino Real League basketball action.
