British Students Stage ‘The Way of the World’

Kelly Clark, daughter of actress Lynn Redgrave and niece of actress Vanessa Redgrave, will make her American stage debut March 6 at Santa Monica College.
Clark, whose parents have a home in Topanga Canyon, will star in William Congreve’s Restoration comedy, “The Way of the World.” She and fellow cast members are students at the Guildford School of Acting in England.
The British student production is part of a swap between the English acting school and Santa Monica Community College. In January, Santa Monica College sent a production of “Tchaikovsky” to England. “Tchaikovsky,” which had its world premiere in December in Santa Monica, is an original play by Santa Monica music professor Donald Richardson and alumnus Toby Bluth.
“The Way of the World” will be performed March 6 through 8 in the Santa Monica College Concert Hall, 1900 Pico Blvd.
