Open Space Petition Needs More Signatures
There is an urgent need for Hermosa Beach registered voters to sign the 100% Open Space Park Initiative Petition regarding the Biltmore site in order for the measure to qualify for the November ballot.
We need about 800 more signatures in order to file the petition with the city clerk’s office by the end of this month.
I want to thank the approximately 1,500 voters who have already taken their precious time to sign the 100% Open Space Park Initiative.
People will be circulating the petition at the Vons market at Pier Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach on weekdays from approximately 4 to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 1 to 8 p.m.
We must all join together in this great endeavor to save the city-owned Biltmore site from being sold and developed for residential and commercial buildings.
