Nation IN BRIEF : KENTUCKY : Guard Plane Crash Victims Mourned

Nearly 3,000 family, friends and townspeople gathered in Louisville, Ky., at memorial services for the five Kentucky Air National Guardsmen killed when a their transport plane crashed into a motel and restaurant in Evansville, Ind. A total of 16 died in the fiery crash on Thursday. In Evansville, hundreds gathered to mourn two plumbing company employees among the 11 civilians killed at the Drury Inn. Funerals were scheduled through Tuesday for Evansville crash victims.
