Hydraulic Systems Fail, but Jetliner Lands Safely

DENVER — A Northwest Airlines jet with 177 passengers aboard made a safe emergency landing after two of its three hydraulic systems failed, officials said. Fire trucks met the DC-10 when it landed Friday.
