Caring Paramedics Applauded

Kudos for your choice of the picture of Costa Mesa firefighter Fred Seguin on your front page Jan. 24.
I have required the services of the Buena Park firefighter paramedics on several occasions, and each time was greeted with the same caring, reassuring smile as (Seguin) is giving the little girl in his arms. I owe my life to these dedicated men, as do many others.
Thank you paramedics and EMTs (emergency medical technicians), and I pray your services will never be one of our “cutbacks.”
