SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Sheriff’s deputies asked for help in their search for a missing San Juan Capistrano man who drove away from his home more than three weeks ago and has not been seen since.
Investigators said James Lewis Gray, 42, was under “a great deal of stress” when he left his home on Jan. 7 in a white 1988 Toyota truck, according to Lt. Dick Olson. Olson declined to elaborate.
Sheriff’s investigators said they did not suspect foul play in Gray’s disappearance.
Gray is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds with blond hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a white shirt with blue stripes, blue jeans and brown shoes. The truck license plate number is 3N48663.
Olson said anyone with information about where Gray’s whereabouts should call the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at (714) 647-7042.
