Policeman Wins Thanks
Recently on a Sunday morning, as I was en route from Burbank to Van Nuys, my car just quit and I found myself stranded in a quiet industrial-type area. Before I had time to become apprehensive, I saw in my rearview mirror a police car approaching. Was I ever glad!
It was a great relief to me that the officer took charge, drove me to the nearest phone, made the call to the auto club and even gave me change for an emergency.
This young officer was kind, gentle and efficient. I believe that the public should know about and appreciate the fine officers who are maintaining our safety, and I am especially grateful to Officer Fowler, LAPD.
