Orange Collision Kills Woman, Injures Man
ORANGE — An Anaheim woman was killed and a Villa Park man suffered minor injuries in a traffic collision Monday afternoon, police said.
Ruth L. Karp, 64, was driving east on Meats Avenue when her Toyota collided with a Cadillac going north on Santiago Boulevard.
Police said they could not find any witnesses to the 12:32 p.m. accident.
Jerome Lerer, 67, the driver of the Cadillac, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was treated for facial cuts and head injuries, said Sgt. Brad Davis. Two young girls riding with him were not injured, police said.
