Oliver Stone’s Film on Kennedy
In reference to the article “Suppression of the Facts Grants Stone a Broad Brush†by Alan M. Dershowitz (Commentary, Dec. 25), I am in complete agreement with his contention that we cannot wait until well into the 21st Century to open the files regarding Kennedy’s assassination.
If the American government doesn’t open the files on its own initiative, a petition should began circulating requesting a referendum to find out if most Americans want to open these files now. Dershowitz correctly points out that the Cold War is over and thus the matter of “national security†could not be used as an excuse.
