NATION IN BRIEF : VIRGINIA : Official in Pentagon Probe Sentenced

A former key aide to the assistant secretary of the Air Force was sentenced in federal court in Alexandria, Va., to 33 months in prison and fined $10,000 for accepting gifts and money for illegally influencing the award of military contracts. The sentence given to Victor D. Cohen, 55, is the second-toughest handed down in the Ill Wind investigation into Pentagon contracting fraud.
