‘The Barber of Seville’

“The Barber of Seville” is a great production despite Martin Bernheimer’s review (“Music Center Gags Rossini’s ‘Barbiere,’ ” Nov. 25). He probably wasn’t feeling well that day.
Surreal sets are a delightful way of expressing the humor of Rossini’s music, and the sexual temperature of the production seems to flow right from the score.
