Calgary defenseman Jim Kyte and Vancouver left wing Gino Odjick were suspended by the NHL after receiving match penalties during a game Nov. 22 between the Flames and Canucks.
Odjick was suspended for six games after receiving a match penalty for deliberately injuring Calgary defenseman Al MacInnis. Kyte was suspended three games after receiving a match penalty from a fight in which he scratched Vancouver defenseman Jim Agnew in the area of the eyes in the same game.
