Joint Venture Hotel Going Up in Vietnam

BANGKOK, Thailand — Construction of a four-star hotel has begun in Ho Chi Minh City, the official Vietnam News Agency reported. It said the $60-million joint venture between a Vietnamese and a Hong Kong company is expected to open for business in 1993 in the city, formerly called Saigon. The 600-room hotel will be the biggest in the city, the report said.
