1 Dead in Hit-and-Run

The California Highway Patrol was looking for a red or dark-colored Datsun 280Z with a missing front windshield that was involved in a hit-and-run accident Thursday evening that left one person dead.
A CHP spokeswoman said the car’s driver killed the victim, whose identity was not immediately available, on California 94 at Barrett Junction in East San Diego County.
