Having a Ball in Long Beach: Tyne Daly will headline “Ballroom” when the musical has its West Coast premiere Feb. 27-March 15 by the Long Beach Civic Light Opera. The production will reunite Daly with LBCLO producer Barry Brown, following their Broadway success with the 30th anniversary production of “Gypsy,” which earned them both Tony Awards. “Ballroom” is based on the television movie, “Queen of the Stardust Ballroom.”
