Singing for Charity: Frank Sinatra’s first recording in more than seven years--a version of “Silent Nightâ€--will be contained on “The Christmas Album, a Gift of Hope,†a collection of Christmas songs being released Saturday by the San Diego-based Children’s Hospital Foundation to benefit children’s hospitals around the country. Among other artists featured in the album, produced by Michael Lloyd: Reba McEntire, Barry Manilow, Willie Nelson, Stryper and Dionne Warwick. The album will be available in Los Angeles at Vons markets, Bullock’s and the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
