CAMARILLO : $8,000 in Jewelry Taken From Home
A burglar stole about $8,000 worth of jewelry from a house on Belleza Street in Camarillo while the couple who lives there was bowling, a Camarillo Police Department spokesman said Tuesday.
Marsha Devereaux told police that several rings, necklaces, earrings and gold chains were taken in the burglary Monday afternoon.
Police said the burglar entered an unlocked garage and then went through an unlocked door into the house between 1:30 and 5:30 p.m.
