Stories Left Untold: “Stories, Stories & More Stories,� the Los Angeles Children’s Theatre series that featured a rotating bill of stars such as Howie Mandell, Annie Potts and LeVar Burton reading classic fairy tales, has closed at the Canon Theatre in Beverly Hills. Artistic director Patricia Gaul cited financial problems but said the series has strong celebrity support and she is confident the closure will be temporary. “We’re looking for an underwriter and plan to reopen after the first of the year,� she said.
