Dos Pueblos 33, Hueneme 15--Eric Gonzales rushed for 179 yards in 21 carries and scored two touchdowns as visiting Dos Pueblos (1-6, 1-3) recorded its first victory over winless Hueneme (0-7, 0-4).

Gonzales opened the scoring on a two-yard run on Dos Pueblos’ first drive and added a 66-yard run to give the Chargers a 28-7 lead midway through the third quarter.

Dos Pueblos’ Rich Hollowell had five receptions for 101 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Rico Catalusci.

Trailing, 7-0, in the first quarter, Hueneme tied the score when Sharif Waldrum ran 47 yards for a touchdown. Hueneme quarterback David Andrade completed eight of 21 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.
