Rev. Jack M. Chisholm; Presbyterian Minister
The Rev. Jack M. Chisholm, senior minister at Glendale Presbyterian Church, has died at a Burbank hospital. He was 61.
Chisholm died Wednesday of cancer, said his daughter, Leslie Dickinson of Glendale.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Chisholm served in the Navy during the Korean War and graduated from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 1965.
He served as minister of churches in his hometown and Sharon, Pa., before moving to California in 1981 to lead Glendale Presbyterian Church. He served as senior minister of the church until his death.
Chisholm is also survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Chisholm; a son, David Chisholm of Voorhees, N. J.; daughters Sue Chisholm of Glendale and Gail Fought of Philadelphia; sisters Janet LeGore of Harrison, Pa., and Shirley Neleigh of Cincinnati, and four grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glendale Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Harvard St. Kiefer & Eyerick Mortuary in Glendale is handling the arrangements.
Donations can be made to the Rev. Jack M. Chisholm Prayer Chapel at the church.
