Loyola Is No Match for Pepperdine

Leslie Asplund had 13 kills and four blocks to lead the Pepperdine women’s volleyball team to a 15-5, 15-5, 15-10 West Coast Conference victory over Loyola Marymount Saturday night in Malibu.

The match took only 65 minutes to complete.

Joli Eberhart had nine kills and eight digs for Loyola (13-9 overall, 5-3 in league play). Pepperdine is 16-4, 8-0. The two teams play again at 7 p.m. Saturday at Loyola.
