UCLA Receives Commitment From Kristich
Zrinka Kristich, a 6-foot-5 center at La Habra High School, has orally committed to play basketball at UCLA next season, her mother, Anna, said Wednesday.
The first day athletes can sign letters of intent with colleges is Nov. 13.
Kristich averaged 15.9 points and 11.6 rebounds during the regular season last year. She helped the Highlanders to the Freeway League title and the Southern Section Division II-A semifinals, where La Habra lost to eventual champion Woodbridge, 47-44.
Kristich was a Times’ All-County selection in volleyball and basketball last year.
