Saddleback 3, Cypress 2--The Gauchos (6-2, 2-1) won the first two games, lost the next two, and needed an 18-16 fifth-game victory to take the match at Cypress. Elainie Kollais (Saddleback) and Cami Ramsey (Cypress) shared the kill lead with 16 each. Cypress fell to 8-3, 1-2.

Riverside 3, Rancho Santiago 0--Despite a match-high 16 kills by Kim Burfening, the visiting Dons fell to 1-8, 0-3.
