Recruiting update: Mater Dei quarterback Billy Blanton has watched his Division I college stock increase this season along with his passing statistics.
Blanton, who’s listed at 6-feet-2 and 195 pounds, has been in contact with Notre Dame, Pacific and Colorado State, as well as receiving recruiting letters from every national power.
He’s leading the state in passing with 84 completions in 130 attempts for 1,639 yards, 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
