A delegation of business, cultural and civic leaders from Fukui, Japan, will visit Fullerton next week.
The visit, scheduled Oct. 25 through 27, will precede a Nov. 3 membership reception hosted by the Fullerton Sister City Assn. to promote the city’s ties with Fukui and Morelia, Mexico.
The nonprofit group will distribute membership applications as well as information on home stay and educational exchange programs. In addition, Sister City Assn. president William Puzo will show slides from the group’s August visit to Fukui.
The reception will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Fullerton Museum Center, 301 N. Pomona Ave. Included will be representatives from an oil well drilling company, a ballet research institute and a newspaper.
